SATURDAY, OCT. 17, 2015 - This is The Elements, a five-year program that provides today’s young men with the elements of professional and personal excellence they need to be the leaders of society tomorrow. Through a curriculum of classes, one-on-one mentoring, interactive sessions, and career presentations by successful professionals, The Elements challenges students not only to excel academically, but also to stand out among their peers in character, breadth of vision, and a magnanimous spirit of service.
Each student is assigned a mentor who will meet individually with him between the monthly sessions. The mentor guides the students in applying the principles taught in class and helps them set important and practical goals. Mentoring sessions last 45 minutes and will take place at the Wespine Study Center, 100 E. Essex Ave., Kirkwood, Mo.
